CCParker Studios is owned by Christopher C. Parker. CCParker Studios started business recently in 2007.Chris was born and raised in Corpus Christi Texas. In 1990, two years after graduating from high school, Chris joined the U.S. Air Force. Within the first four years, his tour of duty took him to 14 European countries. The last two years was spent in Washington state. Chris returned to Corpus Christi as a Gulf War Veteran.
Creating art has been Christopher's passion since a child. The dream became a reality in the year 2000 attending Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi. Chris was elected President of the Student Art Association. One of seven art students who were hand selected to assist and intern to help construct the entrance monument "Momentum". Chris also donated three designs for a billboard promoting "Momentum". The call to use the artistic talents and give back to the community has always been apart of Chris' life. From the military service, helping the Food Bank of Corpus Christi and created the artwork for the Pick-Up School Program.
The possibilities of great computer graphics can be limited using outdated technology. CCParker Studios maintains its computer systems to stay up to date with the newest software. Along with computer graphics, oil paintings are Christopher Parker's main specialty and passion. The paintings are of urban landscapes. Usually the content has some sort of historical importance. An art show is not currently on the calendar. The website will be posting dates when a show is planned. Several new paintings are in the works, including several new smaller acrylic paintings. A commissioned painting is possible, however, other paintings are in the works. Currently, several pieces of artwork is on permanent display at the law offices of Sorrell, Anderson, Lehrman, Maixner & Ridulfo, L.L.P.
